A Little Better, Never Perfect

Long-lasting products, natural materials, real action.

A Little Better, Never Perfect

At Camper, we strive to always make our products better. From our design approach to the materials we choose, each product is created with sustainability at the forefront.

With the objective of moving towards a more circular way of doing things, we prioritize natural renewable materials that ensure maximum quality and durability above all else.

To create our products, we focus on using traceable natural materials and innovative new ones that are biodegradable, contain no toxic chemicals, and have the lowest possible impact on the environment.

MADE TO LAST

We are shoemakers above all else. That means high-quality materials and craftsmanship are essential to offering you products that are durable and long-lasting.

We aim to create timeless designs that are repairable and made to last. Initiatives like ReCrafted, Second Life, and our Shoe Care Service help us extend the life of Camper footwear even further—keeping our products out of the landfill and giving them a fresh chance to continue their lifecycle where possible. Wearing a pair of shoes for just nine extra months can reduce their carbon impact between 20 and 30%.

NATURAL MATERIALS

There’s something about natural materials that we love. And as new ones become available, we continue to innovate, committing ourselves to a new material only when it’s passed our strict quality control process.

We make sure all our natural materials, including leather, hemp, coffee, wood pulp, sugarcane, cotton, and cellulose, are of the highest quality and are certified by independent, recognized entities that ensure accurate environmental measurement so we can understand their impact.

We’re on a continual journey to source innovative and renewable natural materials that offer us new and better ways to be more responsible.

CARBON NEUTRAL

We measure the impact of every shoe we create as a way to assess and refine how materials and components are selected for our products. We have committed to be carbon neutral by 2030 and have set ambitious targets to reduce our direct and indirect emissions. Our product strategy plays a significant role in reaching our goals.

We measure our progress by setting goals approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a partnership between CDP, WRI, WWF and the UN Global Compact. We also invest in green energy, have added more efficient technology in our buildings, and use 100% green energy in all of our stores in Spain and Germany.
