Camper Paris store reopens

Redesigned by Julie Richoz

Officially opening on March 6, our Le Marais store now reflects Camper’s ongoing dialogue with design, openness, and unconventional solutions.

Designed in collaboration with Swiss-French designer Julie Richoz, the new space is approached through furniture, with a strong focus on detail. The interior brings together eclectic elements to form a rich ensemble, exploring different kinds of know-how, connections, materials and textures.

“Solid wood is explored in multiple forms, including tinted ash, varnished beech, oiled birch, and painted pine, bringing warmth to the environment. The cash desk is made from black Valchromat panels that we polished with wax to create a reflective surface, just as you would polish a beautiful pair of leather shoes,” says Richoz.

One of the store’s most distinctive features is the floor. Developed in collaboration with Huguet in Mallorca, cement tiles were custom made in the shape of the Camper logo. Richoz composed the floor pattern the way she would design a carpet.

“I like how it refers to old Parisian cafés, where floor patterns were created using ceramic tiles to form drawings that fit the space perfectly,” she explains.

The result is a welcoming and accessible space where furniture does its job without being too obvious, inviting curiosity and imagination. The store is designed to feel as if it has evolved naturally over time.
