Pelotas is our original Icon. Launched in 1995 to rival the casual sports shoe, it was an instant hit with forward-thinking creatives. Three decades later, our timeless design remains unchanged.
With millions of pairs sold worldwide, Pelotas is Camper’s most iconic shoe—a symbol of our heritage, shoemaking know-how, and commitment to quality.
Named after the Spanish word for “balls,” Pelotas is inspired by the passion of sports pioneers. Its design concept honors the vintage, hand-stitched balls used in games from basketball and football to tennis, featuring a distinctive 87-ball outsole with a unique cushioning system.
