Amazing shoes that have a crucial defect

Let me start saying that I love the look and the quality of these shoes. They are cushioned perfectly and the way they close is secure and easy to use. They could be heavenly for walking hours on end, they are that comfortable. There is only one problem that I am not sure it will get better as I wear them. The upper part with the scratch closure although a brilliant idea to accommodate different feet, scratches the upper part of my feet to the point of making shallow but painful marks/small wounds. I resulted in wearing them while using Elastoplast on those parts of my feet because they are oh so comfortable when this part is cushioned. I hope that by wearing them, the use will smooth that part and they will be the perfect and dreamy shoe they were designed to be.
