Limited-edition Wabi made with regenerative wool
Camper x Llanatura
For our Fall/Winter 2022 collection, we teamed up with fellow Mallorcan company Llanatura to create a Wabi slipper with regenerative wool locally sourced and processed on the island.
Taking its name from dialectal words for wool (llana), nature (natura), and stop (atura), Llanatura honors traditional artisanal techniques, working only with the virgin fleece of Mallorca's native sheep. This renewable natural material is sheared and washed by hand before being worked slowly and consciously into raw wool fibers.
The entire production process takes place in Mallorca, promoting employment opportunities for people made vulnerable by mental health, favoring local manufacturing, and reducing the global environmental impact of wool.
Launched in 2000, our iconic Wabi was born out of a desire to minimize components and simplify complex production techniques to help reduce energy and waste. Our collaboration with Llanatura takes us one step closer to achieving a more responsible and sustainable product.
