On 30 September, during Paris Fashion Week, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of Camper’s arrival in the French capital with a very special event at our studio-store in the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
In October 1992 we opened our first store outside of Spain, in the bohemian neighbourhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris.
This was just the beginning of a process of international expansion, and today we have more than 300 stores around the world, scattered across Europe, Asia and North America, from Vancouver, Canada, to Brisbane, Australia, all with unique interior designs.
In addition to the celebration itself, we wanted to pay tribute to Paris by displaying some of the most inspiring images of this city throughout the week at our studio-store in Faubourg Saint-Honoré. These images have been selected from the Camper Love Gallery, a creation made possible by everyone who uploaded their photos (if you want, you can still add yours).
Yes, we love Paris—and for this reason we’ve created a gallery at love.camper.com to display inspiring images of this fabulous city. If you want to add yours, tag it with #camperlovesparis on Instagram, Flickr or Twitter (or add it from your Facebook page), and if visitors to the gallery like your photo the best, we’ll give you a free pair of shoes from our new collection.
